Women Empowerment Program

Knowing that losing a husband or partner can be an incredibly saddling experience. Becoming a widow can also be the beginning of whole new hardships, and problems. A lot of women are faced with sudden urgent fears of providing for the family, and difficulties of how they can afford to pay rent, cloth, eat, or keep their children in school.

Through the widow’s empowerment scheme, the widows will receive education and skill acquisitions that will help them traverse the hard times. The foundation provides start-up assistance that will help the widows to start small businesses in other to be able to fend for their families.

DHF, with the help of partners and sponsors, we can train them on the principle of management, planning, and skill acquisition, and also will be able to provide a small start-up grant to help them set up their business.
